I know, I know, I know . . .

It's been way too long since I updated my poor little blog. I even got an email from a friend reminding me that if I have a blog I should be required to update it at least once a month. But, I have a good excuse, kind of. My sad, very sad laptop ran out of memory, so I couldn't upload any new pictures . . . therefore I couldn't post any new pictures which made it silly to blog since all the photos I could use were old, right? Okay, so it's a lame excuse; I just was busy and somehow blogging didn't make it to the top of the priority list. :) But, my sweet husband did buy me a new desktop with lots of memory and now I can upload all the photos I want. Check back soon.

My girls have been on fall break this week. It's been a great time. I love having them home. We had some great friends come visit from Washington, checked out the American Girl store, went to Huntington Library, and had several playdates. It's been very relaxing. I'll be sad for them to go back to school on Monday. One of my favorite moments this week was after one of our playdates. My girls had been playing over at their friends' house and I called their mom to check in on them. She was telling me about her conversation with Megan. She started off with, "So, Megan asks questions that seem a little beyond most 10 year olds . . ." I asked her what she meant and she explained that Megan had been asking her about her faith (she attends the Catholic church). Megan had asked her about her beliefs in the Virgin Mary; she wanted to know why some Catholics believe in her deity and what made them believe she was born sinless. My friend said she loved it; they had a great conversation about theology, and Megan was very respectful, just curious. I love it! I love that her faith is so fervent and her desire to evangelize and share the love of Christ just pours out of her. I'm so thankful that God has gifted her in that way. That's all for now . . . I promise I will post pictures very soon. :)
