Where to begin . . .

Somehow I blinked and December disappeared. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but it definitely happened. We have had an exciting month full of birthday parties, class parties, Bible Study parties, preschool parties, and then a few more birthday parties. :) It's been very fun . . . but absolutely nuts. Our new puppy, Hallie, has been keeping us very busy. She is sweet . . . but undoubtedly a puppy. She hasn't done too much damage yet. She did eat my computer cord the night before I had a meeting for work, but thankfully my boss saved me (and the dog) with a spare cord. She's getting big very quickly. She is half Golden Retriever and half Poodle. She'll probably end up between 40-50 pounds. Her breed is called Goldendoodle, though a friend from church told me that a goldendoodle sounded more like something his dog does in the backyard. Real nice! Anyway, she has become a well-loved member of the family, and she doesn't shed, which I am very grateful for. The girls are very excited to be home from school now, so they can play with her all day. She's excited about that too. She loves to be with them. I'll get some new pictures of her up soon. Cara and Nicole went to a birthday party at Olivia's Doll House a couple of weeks ago, and they had a blast. It's a tea house for little girls; they get to dress up anyway they want, choose accessories (as many as they want and Nicole took that quite literally), have their hair, nails, and make-up done, and play tea party. It was a very fun (and quite comical) afternoon. Please keep in mind I let them choose everything themselves.

Cara told me she wanted something simple. :)

I wasn't kidding about the accessories. I had nothing to do with this ensemble.
