Ty has been working so hard at walking for the last several months, and we're so excited because he's doing great! He can now walk 20-30 feet at a time, and he can stop and catch his balance or turn around and walk the other direction. He's still learning how to fall down, which sounds funny, but he doesn't have any natural protective responses. His physical and occupational therapists have been working really hard with him to help him learn these things. His progress is very encouraging. He's just starting to be able to pull himself up at furniture, and I'm expecting to find him standing in his crib any day now. It's amazing to see how he has learned to compensate for his weaknesses.
These pictures were taken at Ty's physical therapy office. This is Michelle. She's one of Ty's therapists, and we love her. She takes such great care of our little guy. She loves to make him laugh and he has a good time with her . . . that is when he's not screaming like a mad man because she's making him do something he doesn't want to. He has a lot of developmental delays, but attitude isn't one of them. :)
For those of you who know Ty very well, I'm sure you'll be shocked to know jumping on the trampoline is Ty's favorite activity at PT.
We're so grateful for the care we have received for Ty. He currently has 6 different therapists, and we are so blessed by their kindness and love for our son. His life is very busy with 8 or 9 appointments every week, and I am very thankful that God has placed such amazing ladies in our path to care for him. I'll try to get some pictures of each of them in the next few weeks.

Wow what a blessing for you and your family - I have tears in my eyes just reading this! I'm thankful for the gift of growth that God has given your family. God knew Ty needed you to be his mommy! Hugs, Andrea
I am so excited to hear he is walking. You have been so faithful to keep up with it all. What a joy you get to see the fruit of all of it.
