Need a good laugh?

So, this is what happens when you take your very long-haired, matted, sheep-dog looking Golden Doodle to the groomer. The groomer says, "We'll need to shave her because the mats are too thick, but we'll leave the head a bit longer." So then out comes this! Yah, we still like her, but I'm not a big fan of the dorky orange bows on her ears or the lame bandana (my apologies to all of you who like to dress your dogs as western characters). We now have a very large grandma-type-poodle dog with a mohawk. What's not to love? Thankfully, it's just hair, and it will grow back some day. In the mean time, have a good giggle at her expense. She won't mind. :)

That's exactly what happened out our dog last time I took her...except they even clipped her head and ears...left just the fur around her mouth and on her tail. She looked ridiculous. It's been 2 months and is just now starting to look more dog than rat! Guess I should brush her? And Amelia insists on bows on her ears. They last for a couple of hours at best.

Very funny. We have a labradoodle and a mini poodle. The matts can be horrible! When we first had our male poodle groomed he came back with a skinny nose, a bow, and it looked like he was walking in high heels. Brent said never again! Then both our dogs got such bad matts we had to take them in for a shave down, we told the groomer to keep their heads fluffy, no long noses. :-)
I do love the doodles!!
